Project: Be engaged in strengthen third sector at Åland Island
Short description

Volunteers are given the opportunity to make contributions to different associations and assignments vary based on the associations “current needs and the volunteers interest and skills”. The associations are active in the sustainability work, such as inclusion people with lesser conditions in one or another area, as well as environmental sustainability work such as recycling, which the volunteers make an active contribution to and "learning by doing". The base is to work in a solidarity spirit where everyone can make an effort and at the same time get a chance to learn new and develop. The volunteers work is to help the organizations with practical everyday tasks such as cleaning, small repairs, cooking, serving, marketing in social media, recycling, and also with special projects and camps. The volunteers will get to know Åland, its nature, culture and people by making a joint effort in the third sector.
